Now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in you.
ASV And now, Lord, what wait I for? My hope is in thee.
My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from him.
ASV My soul, wait thou in silence for God only; For my expectation is from him.
For you are my hope, Lord Yahweh, my confidence from my youth.
ASV For thou art my hope, O Lord Jehovah: Thou art my trust from my youth.
I wait for Yahweh. My soul waits. I hope in his word.
ASV I wait for Jehovah, my soul doth wait, And in his word do I hope.

Behold, Yahweh’s eye is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness,

Our soul has waited for Yahweh. He is our help and our shield. For our heart rejoices in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. Let your loving kindness be on us, Yahweh, since we have hoped in you.
